With traditional processing, harvested hemp stalks must be handled, transported, and delivered to a centralized decortication facility before the bast fiber and hurd can be separated and sold. The Fiber King™ eliminates this step by harvesting, decorticating, and separating hemp directly in the field in a single pass.

Farmers can produce two valuable raw materials—high-quality bast fiber and clean hemp hurd—while reducing post-harvest handling, transportation, retting, and processing costs. By eliminating the need for a separate decortication facility, farmers also have the opportunity to sell their fiber and hurd directly to processors and manufacturers.
