Higher Farmer Revenue

With traditional hemp decortication methods, farmers typically gross around $800 per acre due to the costs and inefficiencies of retting, storage, and transportation to offsite processing facilities. Green decortication changes that equation entirely. By harvesting and processing directly in the field, farmers can produce higher-quality fiber and hurd at a much lower cost, enabling them to gross up to $2,400 per acre. This threefold increase in revenue makes hemp farming far more competitive with other cash crops and offers growers a financially compelling reason to expand hemp acreage.

Traditional Method: Hemp is cut using a sickle bar. The stalks ret in the field. Bales the dried stalks. Sells to a decorticator.

Fiber King: Hemp is harvested and decorticates at the same time. Bast fiber and hurd are sold separately.
